What's a Star?

A Star represents a global profile for a person that participates on one or multiple events.

Stars are not required, but creating a Star allows you to link players and their videos from different groups. 

For example:

Johnny plays soccer for both his high school and his club teams.  He is listed on the high school roster as "J. Smith, #33, Midfield" while on his club team he is listed as "Johnny Smith, #22, Forward".  His dad creates a single star record named "John Smith" and links it to the player records from each team.  Then dad can invite friends and family to follow John's star record and get notifications every time he is tagged in a highlight video on any team.
