What's a Manual Camera Setup?

A manual camera setup is the traditional recording method of using a camera stabilized on a tripod, manually controlled by a videographer.

The benefits of using a manual camera setup is specific control over panning and zooming, and the ability to follow around a specific player for the whole game. However, the downsides are that you focus more on recording the game than watching it, and videographers often can't react fast enough if something sudden and unexpected happens on the field.

Although AmperVue will accept manual camera setup footage, AmperVue encourages users to utilize a Static Camera Setup instead, whenever possible, as it results in higher quality highlights.
